Your next trip to the snow is coming up and you want to be 100% sure that you've thought of everything when packing? We've put together a packing list for your ski holiday that you can easily tick off.

Packing list for ski vacations: Which suitcase is the right one?
The packing list for your ski vacation is now complete. Now the only question is: Which suitcase can you pack all your things in?
As thick winter sweaters and equipment such as ski goggles, gloves and hats take up a lot of space, you need a suitcase with as much storage space as possible for your ski vacation. Our IP1 suitcase in size L not only has a volume of an incredible 106 liters, but also a water-repellent zipper. So even if you pull the trolley made from recycled plastic through heavy snow, all your luggage will stay dry.
For items that you want to get to more quickly - either because you are traveling by plane and need your flight tickets, or because you are traveling by car and get hungry for your packed provisions on the way - we recommend that you also take a carry-on suitcase with you. Tips for a successful ski holiday

So your ski vacation is more relaxed & sustainable
1. Reserve ski equipment online: Take your skis with you on the lift? Buy all the equipment separately? That doesn't have to be the case. It's much more relaxed and sustainable if you rent all your equipment (skis, boots, poles) on site. This is now also possible online, so you can be sure that you really will get everything you need for your days on the slopes during your vacation. Find out more about online ski rental here.
2. Borrow additional equipment from friends: You have reserved skis, boots and poles at the ski rental shop. But you notice that you're missing other things on your ski vacation packing list? Thermal shirts, hats, reusable cutlery and stainless steel lunch boxes are not in your cupboards? Ask friends if they can help you out. Borrowing and sharing saves resources and your wallet.
3. Remember the vignettes: Beautiful ski resorts are located in Switzerland and Austria. In these countries, you need a valid vignette to drive on the roads with your car. To make sure you don't panic on the road, you can order it online in advance.
4. Stay in sustainable accommodation: To make your winter vacation even more environmentally friendly, look for organic hotels with our tips.
This is what you should bear in mind at the ski resort
1. Be considerate on the slopes: Even if your packing list for your ski vacation includes a first aid kit, it is important that you do not use it. Adjust your speed to your abilities and be mindful of all the other people who want to enjoy their adventures in the snow.
2. Plan activities off the slopes: Tobogganing, hiking, building an igloo - there are also great activities off the slopes that are absolutely fun. There's a good reason why thick winter boots are on the packing list for your ski vacation. Bring some variety to your trip.
3. See your vacation as a nature experience: On the slopes, it's not just about looking out for other skiers. Nature also wants to be respected. So stay in designated areas and take your garbage home with you.
4. Prefer smaller ski resorts: In smaller ski resorts, the impact on nature caused by lift facilities is often even less than in well-known ski resorts. This is more sustainable and you also have much more peace and quiet. There is less going on here and you don't pay the high "tourist prices".
